Join us at Rhosygilwen Neuadd y Dderwen on 3rd May for a very special Noson Lawen — an evening where the richness of Welsh musical tradition meets contemporary creativity in one of Wales’s most atmospheric concert settings.

At the heart of the evening is VRï, the acclaimed Welsh chamber folk trio whose music draws deeply from the landscape, language and melodies of Wales while bringing a fresh and vibrant energy to traditional forms. Their inventive arrangements and masterful musicianship have earned them a reputation as one of the most exciting groups on the Welsh folk scene today.

They are joined by two outstanding artists: the celebrated fiddler and singer Angharad Jenkins, renowned for her powerful interpretation of Welsh traditional music, and internationally respected pianist and composer Huw Warren, whose work effortlessly bridges jazz, folk and classical traditions.

Together, these remarkable musicians promise an evening of warmth, virtuosity and musical storytelling — full of atmosphere, rhythm and lyrical beauty. Set beneath the oak beams of Neuadd y Dderwen, this Noson Lawen will be both intimate and uplifting: a celebration of Welsh culture, creativity and shared musical experience.

Yn ganolog i’r noson mae VRï, y triawd siambr werin Cymreig clodwiw sy’n tynnu’n ddwfn ar dirwedd, iaith ac alawon Cymru, gan roi egni ffres a bywiog i gerddoriaeth draddodiadol. Mae eu trefniannau dyfeisgar a’u cerddoriaeth o’r safon uchaf wedi sicrhau enw iddynt fel un o grwpiau mwyaf cyffrous y sin werin Gymreig heddiw.

Bydd dau artist arbennig yn ymuno â nhw: y ffidlwraig a chantores enwog Angharad Jenkins, sy’n adnabyddus am ei dehongliad grymus o gerddoriaeth draddodiadol Cymru, a’r pianydd a chyfansoddwr o fri rhyngwladol Huw Warren, sy’n asio jazz, gwerin a cherddoriaeth glasurol yn naturiol.

Gyda’i gilydd, mae’r cerddorion hyn yn addo noson o gynhesrwydd, dawn gerddorol a straeon mewn cân — yn llawn awyrgylch, rhythm a harddwch telynegol. O dan drawstiau derw Neuadd y Dderwen, bydd y Noson Lawen hon yn brofiad clos a dyrchafol: dathliad o ddiwylliant, creadigrwydd a cherddoriaeth Cymru.
