Getting Here

By Road
From Cardigan/Ceredigion take the Tenby Road (A 478) and follow it for approximately 7 miles, going through the villages of Bridell, and Penybryn. At the next tiny village, Rhoshill, turn left at the crossroads to Cilgerran. Approximately half a mile along this road, just after Ty Rhos Farm (on the left) take the first turn to the right that is signposted to Rhosygilwen, this is a single track road with passing places. Go to the end of the road and through the gates of Rhosygilwen Mansion. The drive is itself about half a mile long.

From Carmarthen – follow the A40 towards Haverfordwest. Turn right onto the A478 a mile or so after passing through Llanddewi Velfrey…..go along A478 for approx 17 miles, and turn right in the village of Rhoshill (signposted to Cilgerran). After approximately .5 ml take the first right turn (signposted to Rhosygilwen) – a single track road with passing places – and go right to the end where you will see the Mansion gates. Go through, and down the drive – you will see the hall on the left hand side with its own car park. If you are staying at Rhosygilwen, the parking area is a little further on, on the right hand side.

The postcode if you are using navigation aids is SA43 2TW (Please note that the map point for Rhosygilwen Mansion on Google Maps is currently incorrect: the Mansion location is at the square point named Rhosygilwen slightly south east of the map point).

Secure Car and Coach Parking are available for approximately 50 cars.

By Air

Swansea Airport is approximately 1 hour away, with regular flights from London and Cork, while the international airports of Cardiff and Bristol are 2 and 2.5 hours away respectively. Europe’s busiest international airport, London Heathrow, is approximately 4.5 hours drive

Public Transport: Rail The nearest train station is Carmarthen with regular direct, and connecting services to London, via Swansea, and to most other major cities in the UK.

Rhosygilwen Mansion and Gardens provide plenty of access for wheelchair users. If you may have special requirements, please feel free to contact us in advance of your visit.

Dogs
Well Behaved dogs and guide dogs are always welcome in the Grounds at Rhosygilwen, but we regret that we do not have any facilities for dogs to stay here.
