Rhosygilwen presents its own production of the popular opera La Boheme, produced by Sian Cameron. Including picnic interval. Please note early 6pm start. This is one of the most popular operas of all time where the characters of Mimi and Rodolfo fight against all odds for their love to flourish.

Musical Director-James Southall

James Southall is a conductor and pianist with Welsh National Opera. He has been part of the company since 2008 and has conducted nearly 150 performances, including Madam Butterfly, during his time there. In Autumn 2022 he will conduct performances of La Bohème for WNO. As a pianist, he has performed in concert with Sir Bryn Terfel and Rebecca Evans. James is also a vocal coach at the RWCMD in Cardiff and lives in Penarth with his young family.
