Musically, Captain Accident calls down the power of bands like UB40, The Toasters, Jimmy Cliff, The Wailers, Judge Dread, and Chris Murray. While predominantly influenced by reggae music, fans of a more traditional ska or rocksteady sound will also find a kindred spirit. At its heart, you’ll find plenty to dance to, but dig a little deeper and you’ll hear songs about love, politics, and social issues. Much like the roots reggae that inspired the Marley, the songs don’t shy away from hard hitting topics.
