Making a Song and Dance of It – Amnesty International Fundraiser
Join us for a night of music, words and movement with a purpose. Making a Song and Dance of It brings together an inspiring line-up of performers and speakers to raise both funds and awareness for Amnesty International’s vital human rights work.
The evening promises to be lively, heartfelt and thought-provoking. Taking to the stage will be acclaimed local MP Ben Lake, offering his support and reflections on the importance of justice and freedom. The fantastic Marc Owen Band will set the tone with their trademark energy and rhythm, ensuring there’s plenty to dance to. Celebrated poet Patrick Jones will lend his powerful voice and words, weaving together themes of resilience, hope and solidarity. Adding a touch of classical brilliance, soprano Leonie Luff will lift the room with her soaring performance.
Though the cause is serious, the night is designed to be joyful and entertaining—a reminder that celebration and activism can go hand in hand. By dancing, listening and sharing together, we can make a meaningful contribution to protecting human rights around the world.
Tickets are just £12 online in advance, or £15 on the door. Every penny raised supports Amnesty International’s tireless efforts to defend those whose voices are silenced.
So come along, bring your friends, and let’s quite literally make a song and dance of it—for freedom, for justice, for human rights.
