The NIDUM ensemble

Formed of young professional musicians from across the globe, The Nidum Ensemble is a dynamic, diverse and innovative group passionate about bringing chamber music to audiences across the UK. The group is made up of chamber musicians from orchestras including The London Symphony, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, the Royal Philharmonic, BBC Symphony and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales. The Ensemble perform works ranging from piano trios and quartets through to chamber orchestral works. Members include Rhys Watkins from Cardiff (LSO). Rakhvinder Singh from Llandeilo (Manchester Camerata), Gwenllian and Elen Richards – both from Neath and Steffan Morris (cello).
The concert will be led by Benjamin Gilmore (violin).
Gilmore was invited to join the Chamber Orchestra of Europe as a member of the violin section in August 2011 and he has participated in chamber music concerts with members of the orchestra, for instance at the Styriarte festival in Graz.
